In the second part of the channeling, Lord Sananda opens to questions. Here is some of this Q&A session now. Thank you to those who offered such valuable and insightful questions. Enjoy...
What is it about the human experience that keeps us going back to that artist's palette you spoke about, where we are painting our emotions, putting on those negative emotions, getting caught up in a way of being? It seems a very human thing. Are we getting rid of that part of the palette?
No, it will not be taken away for one very good reason. Part of the condition of you coming onto Planet Earth is that you always had freedom of choice. So the choice will never be removed from you. And it will go on generation after generation as people use these experiences to grow, to expand their conscious awareness.
But why does humanity often repeat this energetic choice? It is an addictive behaviour. We become addicted to feeling in a certain way. In many cases, we feel safe moving into the known rather than challenging it and moving outside of that. The ego mind believes it is the ultimate saviour. It protects you. It keeps you safe; this is the belief of the ego mind. But the ego mind is limited in its understanding. It will attempt to prevent you challenging its belief systems and it will attempt to hold you within a limited arena of understanding, with the very best of intentions.
How do you break the addiction to certain limiting emotional states? MEDITATE. When you sit to meditate the process is a simple one. It is to move up and out and through the limitations of the mass conscious mind. The human ego mind creates the mass conscious mind. In meditation the intention is to move up and through that and into the great Soul consciousness, which is yours and unique to you, and even beyond your soul consciousnes into the mighty I AM presence, into an awarenss of your divine nature and all that that encompasses. This is a very challenging thing for your ego, believing that it is going to lose power and in losing power cannot keep you safe. And so the ego mind would have you repeating the treadmill, being in the groove, so that it can keep you in a certain direction, keep you safe.
Spend time each and every day reaching beyond the limitations of your human belief system. Human consciousness is held in place by every thought that was ever thought. Being a part of the pea soup that is the mass conscious mind of humanity on Planet Earth. When you consider all that has occured on this planet, you can understand that it is dense energy, dense, painful energy, often. And it is very simple to partake of that rather than reaching out and reaching beyond and stretching yourself beyond addictive, predictable behaviour.
It is the difference between the creative aspect of you and the reactive aspect of you. The same letters spelt differently mkae a huge world of difference.
You are divine by nature so you can reach beyind the physical body, the emotions, the thoughts and you can reach up into your divine nature, and know that you are also a Creator God. As a Creator God, you are not held within the limitations of pain and suffering, separation and self-doubt.
Challenge the addiction. Challenge your thoughts, follow that thought. 'Where is that thought going to take me?' It's like you're riding on the back of a wild pony. Without reins the pony will simply take you where ever it chooses. And you are not going to stop it. But you do have reins. Choose the direction to which you want to ride the pony.
